A Perfect Sunday

Well.. almost a perfect Sunday. Let's forget waking up and having to do taxes first thing on a Sunday morning because I procrastinated till (almost) the last minute. Anyway, we decided to pack a picnic and head out on a nice, long drive. We ended up driving through some beautiful little towns in MA. Along the way, we pulled over at a farm stand and picked up some fresh eggs.

We ended up driving all the way into NH so we couldn't resist pulling over and stopping at a flea market and Clam Haven (http://clamhaven.com/). Just one note on the Derry flea market: stay away! It's literally filled with vendors selling knockoff handbags etc. Totally a waste of time unless you are.. well.. into knockoffs.

Anyway, on the way back we decided to stop at the Methuen Animal Shelter which is the only animal shelter that I can leave without bawling because they treat their animals so well. Although I did get kind of bummed out at seeing two pigs there. I can't imagine someone giving up one of these pigs.
