Holland

We are back from our amazing trip. I am going to have to post in multiple entries to really highlight and detail the beauty of our vacation. This is partially because there is so much to share and partially because I don't have time to do this all in one fell swoop right now.

Anyway, I need to get ready for work but I will start you off with some shots of Amsterdam:

Ballet

Last weekend Nate surprised me with tickets to the ballet. The show that we were going to see was La Bayadere at the Boston Opera House. Set in India, the story is about a temple dancer who is in love a warrior. This is the same ballet that premiered at the Bolshoi Kamenny in St. Petersburg in 1877. Beautiful dancing, amazing music, great costumes.



On another note, Nate and I are getting ready to go on our first vacation in almost a year. Holland and Iceland, here we come. 5 nights at each location and I can't tell you how excited we are. Next time you hear from me, I'll have lots of photographs to share with you.
