Last Thursday, my parents and I met at the arboretum after work so that I could take some photographs of them. It would've been better if the lighting was just a little lighter, but we got some great shots anyway and we had a lot of fun.

Weekends should never end
My husband and I must have walked at least 5 miles yesterday. Absolutely perfect weather.

Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg
A few weekends ago, my husband and I went on one of our little road trips and ended up spotting Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg on our gps. You read that right. That's really the name of the lake and we're lucky enough to share its state. Proof:
But anyway, we also had a lovely picnic, went on a beautiful (although slightly creepy) hike and saw a different part of MA, for sure. Oh, and you'll be envious of this one. We also went to a farm stand, tried samples of heirloom tomatoes, and purchased a freshly baked, still warm apple pie. We asked the woman who worked there if they had any plastic utensils. Luck was on our side and she handed us 2 plastic forks. We got into the car and ate it like savages. It was great.
Also saw this sign at a red light and I had to snap a pic:

Gloucester, Rockport, and Salem
My husband and I love to go on drives on the weekends, exploring little towns and their food and what makes them special. We decided to venture out to Rockport and had such an awesome time. Shrimp cocktail and stuffed clams, ice cream on the water, little shops, old houses.
Then we headed over to Gloucester. We wanted to check out their schooners. Ended up checking out an antique shop and walking around. But we didn't stick around too long and decided to head to Salem. We had a blast. Did all of the touristy stuff, including a visit to the graveyard where my husband's relatives are buried (from his mother's side).
Ended up at a little Italian restaurant for dinner.
Literally the perfect day. Perfect weather, awesome food, beautiful scenery!
